So if NYC passes congestion pricing, British diplomats wouldn't have to pay?

This is one of the most idiotic posts I've seen from you Judd. You should really research agreements that countries have between each other before you slam the US government for 'embarassing' you by not paying a ridiculous 'congestion pricing fee.'

First of all diplomats are exempt from all sorts of taxes and fees as they travel to foreign countries in accordance with multiple treaties and in the case of US Diplomats, The Foreign Missions Act (22 USC 4301 et seq.). They are eligible for reimbursement of airline fees levied by other countries as well as sales tax, etc.

Local schmuck governments routinely complain about countries not paying various fines, fees, and taxes because they want to suck more money out of someone because they can't manage the massive revenue they have coming in. London is one of the most taxed cities in the world but these guys whine and complain to squeeze a little more money for their horribly mismanaged schemes of governance.

For you to say that official diplomatic vehicles should pay this ludicrous tax is completely moronic and in your case, frankly, disappointing.

Mike, were you trying to write "I [heart symbol] congestion pricing"?

If you like, I can go back into your comment and add "heart" so that others aren't confused.

I agree that Tuttle sounds like a weasel, and the Brits should get their money, but London's congestion pricing is incredibly stupid. So is ours (where it exists) for that matter.

I can't wait until Mary Peters is history. I hope congestion pricing doesn't hit her in the ass on the way out.
